Can anyone explain the telescopic fishing rods for me?
It seems that the telescopic bars have a bad reputation, but my uncle a lot of catches of carp with his stick. is a telescopic rod the same as a fishing rod? and why is telescoping poles so bad? I am a novice fisherman so im still trying to understand the sport a little better. thx.
Most telescopic bars were really crappy and cheap. Cheap Bars Cheap and roller guides. The result was that most of them never cast very well and then broke very quickly. I've only seen two good reeds telescopic fishing done in my life that were good. The reeds are a little different. I have a weight of the 6 sections that makes a 20 foot pole. It is well made and strong, well the poles are not to audition with. They serve for drying a fly or cricket in the water.
