tips for pulling cable into the hose?
I am finishing my basement and had installed 1 / 2 "EMT for drywalling before, but there a couple of places that have required complicated curves, so I used some short lengths of 3 / 4 "flexible metal conduit (Greenfield). The problem I'm having now is that I'm using a fish tape to pull the cables, the fish is sticking the tape when trying to push through the curves in the canal flexible. Does anyone have any trick to help me get the tip of the fish tape beyond the ridges into the hose bent?
In point fish tape gets stuck leaving about 1 foot clearance to the body duct tape of fish (the part you hold) and rotate the tape by turning the body fish tape and feed at the same time. If such work try fish doesn'tt fiberglass tape. Good luck!
