
How long can you sit cooked fish in foil before it is bad to eat?
Only cooked fish. Forgot about it for a while. Its been almost five hours. I love fish but not enough to make me sick. Is it still good?
If food has been sitting at room temperature (in the danger zone ") for up to two hours, cooling or heating the same. After food has been sitting out for 2-4 hours, throw it away. Food potentially dangerous (like cut melons, meats, dairy, fish, etc), you should never eat if you have been exposed for more than four hours.
