Speckled trout / redfish Hotspot Locations in Galveston Bay?
I recently bought a boat and I am new to fishing, I have a map Galveston Bay and desire to address locations in the Bay complex Speckeled that are good for trout and redfish. I just purchased a motor outboard 15 foot single small boat, and I'm looking for some good speck and redfish, access points and boat ramps for access points, I have a map of Galveston Bay and only be remembered in the right direction. Thanks in advance.
Head to San Luis Pass. I use to fish from Galveston to Freeport where I use to live for years. Christmas Bay is another good place for red spots, and flounder. If you take the incoming tide in San Luis Pass with some live shrimp pop a cork, almost guaranteed spots. Fish the bottom with small mullet next September around the first cold front of Red Bull.
