In a flat bottom or v hull boat?
My plan is to get a boat used for fishing in lakes and rivers. Right now I'm looking in particular 12 'V hull good price. The river I fish ranges from 3 to 20 feet deep and is a certain coverage, such as fallen trees. Av helmet would be an option so terrible? What are the disadvantages of serious hull bird against a plain background?
For a boat of 12 ', you will notice a little more power needed for a given speed with a V hull – more surface contact with the environment and less lift. Much less chance of getting blown back with a flattering V at high speed into a strong wind (you can only slow down too ….) will be much more comfortable in a short cut with a V. Compliment good you give a few centimeters in the project. AV will be much less stable at rest, if two of you will just see the side more easily and can dive under the gunwale for not paying attention. A punt flat design will be much more dynamic up front. At 12 that there are radical differences, all the above. A plane stress management and poor crop a little more grace.
