Fly Fishing Virginia

Fly Fishing Virginia
brook trout fly fishing.?

I will try to fly the national park fishing the Shenandoah in Virginia. I hear the park has impressive trout fishing creek. I heard that you have to be very cautious to get to where the trout in his hand. is this true? What kind of work for these trout flies and how big will these fish get.

Your best bet would be to have a local council, I could be here for days and type combinations flies, to fish in these lines, leaders, hook sizes, indicators, etc. All I will say is to ask someone else who is fishing there, should tell you what been fishing and what they have been eating. You probably would benefit from 5WT bar with a long leader, either co-polymer or fluorine. One approach Imitation is always better in these small streams, with nymphs and dry working. You have to have some stealth as opposed to just jumping and splashing in the water, do not forget that you need permission to fish in the streams and also a license is required.
