Fly Fishing Vests
What should I pack for my camping trip to Saranac Lake?

Besides the obvious tents, camp chairs, fishing poles, so I'm having difficulty deciding on what to pack for our camping trip from July 1 to July 13. I'm not sure how many clothes to pack (how many pairs of each one), what to pack medications and how long before I start collecting these items for the trip. (I really do not want to forget anything and I have a very pleasant). Not that this is important, but when we went last year, did not have enough clothes, my husband got a ticket for tailgaiting, we standing on our boat for not having life jackets, I have my period, the tire blew off one side of the truck on Rt 30 and spent two days in the rain fixation of the van on our honeymoon. I hope I'm not asking to go on a second trip to the same place. I guess I'm trying to redeem our horrible honeymoon. My mom says that worries me too …

Start now. Make sure you know how to set up your tent before you go (set it first at home or somewhere) to make sure they have everything and be much easier to do and less stressful than learning for the first time in the campsite. For maximum comfort of sleep, mattresses good air best, next are the type Thermarest inflatable pads, and finally, the foam pads. Rain gear (waterproof trousers and coats are best, ponchos minimum), insect repellent, sunscreen, and a basic first aid kit essentials is nice to have. Flashlights are very useful, probably is pretty good, but be sure to have spare batteries and bulbs. For new ones, LED light goes out. They are much more durable and the batteries will last much longer than regular lights. Type of beacon lights are great to work at the camp to keep your hands free. Make sure to try before they buy make sure they work properly and in good light, but they know they will not match the light output of standard light bulb lights, but the big play when it is dark. Take a couple of blankets in case it gets colder than your sleeping bag can handle. lanterns or propane gas are large and provide a lot of general illumination. Works with batteries are suitable as well, just make sure they are accused or have extra batteries. A good or a propane gas stove, is good. Make sure you have enough gas or propane for fuel and know how to turn on and use. It is easier to clean if you use paper or plastic plates and cups and utensils, plasticware. Can opener, spatulas (types of rubber and metal), knives, aluminum foil (if using a line of kitchen equipment can help reduce cleaning and is great at cooking fires and can also help complete the scraps if desired), spoons, pots and pans, etc … as necessary for what will be the kitchen. Water is essential, make sure you have access to potable water or bring it with you (you need a little), there are water containers you can buy to help keep water in place if not near. paper towels, of course. Maybe a wash tub half or two, would be useful for cleaning kitchen utensils. Coolers for food and drinks to be kept cool. garbage bags to put their rubbish in every day (be sure not to leave him alone out there, especially at night. throw it in the containers approved garbage or you could receive unexpected guests). Store food in cars, especially at night, and do not take any food inside the tent. Personal hygiene items, as you know you might need, toothpaste and toothbrush, towels, soap, clothing (enough to change every day or go washing), money, drugs (ibuprofen, antihistamines, ANT-acids), maybe some things for fun and to help entertain, such as letters, games simple table (backgammon, chess, checkers, Yahtzee, etc. ..), frisbee, football, reading books, small radio, etc. .. If you have more information we can provide more information for some other things that may relate directly to your camping trip. I can email you a list of things if you want it you can choose the relevant things to you so you do not forget anything. An e-mail me. Have fun!
