Nymph fishing flies on floating fly line?
I've heard before, but forgot … What can I attach to the fly line to do my flies floating sink? What is the What adds more weight. They say if I drop a fly up to 8 feet? Also, what is the technique call when you have a dry fly tying a wet fly to end? Thank you!
Second Question fly latter is known as the dropper fly first point fly is used as an indicator. Referring to the first question, if your intention is to make its waterline sinking in a storm tip, the easiest way to do this is to use a very fast or fast sinking poly leader extra, probably will not reach as deep into force, but must do and are readily available at any well stocked fly shop. I know that Cabela's carries them. An alternative is to buy a length of Cortland LC 13 central plumb. Short a piece off and put a loop at each end and you are good to go, connect one end of its line of flight and a leading five fifty-seven walk to the other end. Start with three feet along the LC13 and work from there and remember to throw open its loops so not to get ugly. As an aside the 13 concerns line weight in grains / ft. The best solution of all though is make it a full sinking line or sink tip.
