Have you had any luck keeping live fish from Walmart? How long do they live?
I have excellent luck …. just know how to find more fish. I have also "rescues" … fish that I have spoken to them gives me … and fine to do. I currently have 2 fish (1 Jack Dempsey, 1 Green of Texas), which are "Wally World" fish … and doing very well. I've had live fish from Walmart for 5 + years … until I switched them off, or old age got them. It's not really a good question ….. 40 years experience on my part … but overall the quality of its fish SUCKS out loud, and I would not recommend beginners / novices start with action from there. Instead go with a reputable mother "& Pop" store to start … and once you learn the pros and cons of different species take advantage of their "low low prices every day".
