I've heard of fishing is better when the moon is crescent shaped and resembles the letter "U". Fact or fiction?
If this is way, what makes the difference if the waning moon is angled to resemble the letter "c" or vice versa) or even if to resemble to the top of an umbrella? I was told that when it resembles a dish that can hold water, this is a good time to go fishing. I've had a handful of other people tell me he heard the same thing. I wonder how much of that is true and what really matters is which direction the "bowl" is facing, north, south, east, west. Can someone help clarify this mystery for me?
No. It's just another of those old wives tales. Or tales of fishermen, I suppose. It is one of many examples of self-confirmation bias. Nothing in this specific phase of the moon to help fishing. The moon will be more or less that way on a seasonal basis, by what the station might have something to do with it, but there are better ways to judge seasons.

Umbrellas are great fishing boat equipment when there is a lot of rain and downpour going on when you are fishing. I really hope that i can find myself a good one to use.
