What are the requirements for a used fishing tackle retailer?
I'll try to start one of the mother "& pop" Shop for used fishing reels, rods, lures, sinkers, floats, etc, with some of my friends and family and wondering what all the needs? I have an existing building. I'm working on shelves, desks and more.
Your greatest challenge will come up with enough inventory to sell a used adequately store the required degree of customers to spend enough money to stay in business. When you consider how much money you need only to keep the lights on and the fuel heater, which will need to add the cost of insurance, business license, pay, etc. begins to look like their will if not enough inventory available to keep your customers coming back. Look at the overall inventory in a regular sporting goods store …. even a small city "Mom & Pop "store and then try to imagine where you will find that many" used "equipment. You will have to buy a lot from him, and does not increase the overheads and profit margin. The idea sounds good. But in any practical sense? Probably not going to work. Where is the most likely source their very special product line? You need to know the answer to that most important question before they start asking and answering all the others.
