what is wrong with my fishing rod?
ok so I have a decent fishing rod but I love old .. But I just got 4 lbs test line and just put it on the bar. Now when I pull the line of the full coil turns .. including the handle or hold a reel in I've tried to play with the switch on the bottom of the coil, but just did not catch! PLEASSSEEEEE Can someone tell me Whats going on. i hav also played a little drag, but i kno its not that because of resistance by turning the reel and makes the sound. but not do it. and their decision to turn the handle too.
The anti-reverse your reel does not work. If the coil has not been cleaned for a very long time, adequate cleaning could solve the problem. Dried grease, dust and / or debris could gum up anti-reverse reel mechanism. If this is not the case, then you have something broken in the coil. It could be just a spring weakened by the struggle against the reverse. You might stretch or bend the spring to give more life. This is not a permanent solution, however.
