You have to make the bread yourself (you will who have played the game a little more than they can unlock more features and obtain the necessary supplies). As for the curry, again you have to do, and I think getting the chef's recipe after helping with everything. Hilo, you need to have some vines to make yarn. And you need as bamboo and cane for fish.
