The problem with Ebay
I sold and bought on Ebay. And mostly, was a terrible experience.
I started buying on eBay and at first I thought it was a wonderful thing. I looked for what I wanted and bingo there it was. Bought a telescope (used) and a memory card for my son's Game Cube. I bought a ring and the odd and ends. Most of the material used and normal wear. I thought I was doing very well with the purchases I was doing. I decided selling on Ebay, so I chose to be my niche telescopes. I bought used telescopes and departed for parts and pieces sold. I also still buying from Ebay when I thought I needed something.
I stopped buying when I sat down one day, looking proudly at my new purchase, when I saw a Walmart sale paper. On the first page was a brand new fishing rod for $ 40. Of the same make and model I had in my hand. The only difference was that which had been used and had given him $ 30 for the bar and paid $ 25 for postage. So you know what I said softly.
I put the rod back in the cylinder had wine and went to the local UPS station. I ask how much it would cost to deliver to the address came to mine. $ 7.78 was the answer. Well thought so maybe the cylinder was very expensive. So I went to a consignment shop and found the exact same cylinder that was sent to me. Was $ 3.99 the enormous cost of the bottle. $ 11.77 was the cost to send me the rod and I charged $ 25. Even if you paid $ 10 an hour and pay per cylinder, shipping and mileage charge for sending the rod out of it would not cost $ 25. It took about 15 minutes to get from my house 5 minutes UPS and other shipping to store. A $ 10 an hour (which is pretty good for driving around) for 20 minutes of work is $ 3.20. Well heres the math. $ 7.78 + $ 3.99 cents + $ 3.20 15 a mile and give them 20 miles. Maybe they lived in the country = $ 17.99. And I charged $ 25. These numbers are very liberal and the actual cost of shipping my rod was probably cheaper than this.

I have stopped buying on Ebay all together. Still for sale on Ebay at times, but only to promote my site I started selling my things. www.mywifeskids.com is the site that began because I was sick of people taking advantage of me and I wanted no part of taking advantage of others.
