A Good Friend To Poverty Africa
The problems of Africa have either been magnified in the minds of the West, or maybe the Africans have come to accept that they are intended to be down the poverty ladder.
Hollywood filmmakers enjoy a kind of monastery painting Africa with civilized people who are always struggling for power, food, and diamonds. The analysis of such films as "blood diamonds", the rise and fall of Idi-Amin Hotel Rwanda, have much to say in what resides in the minds of Hollywood filmmakers. In trying to remove this photo Nollywood (Nigeria), filmmakers have gone to the edge of the scale indicating that most Africans are a loan and mansions exaggerated black accent. These two groups of people did not actually show the image of what Africa and the correct dose to cure many of their problems.
The question that begs answer is poverty in Africa is real? Are the media world exaggerate this fact? According to the living conditions of monitoring and inspection (LCMS) IV, 2004, as much as 68 percent of Zambia's population fell below the national poverty line, earning less than K111747 ($ 25). Strangely this is despite the implementation of the PRSP and positive growth trends during recent years. Zambia has more than 50 percent of people living in what is called extreme poverty.
It is interesting that Africa, Asia and South America still has the odor of poverty that can be heard by different governments and the nostrils of their people in the West. Scarce resources are not bound poverty, therefore, poverty can be overcome if the proverbial national cake can be shared equally. It is sometimes very difficult to find who to blame poverty and African title is: its leaders, citizens in general or perhaps the West? African leaders such as Muammar Qaddafi is in the first row of those who want to pay the West African governments to the slave trade, establishing such a priority of compensation and commissions have adverse long-range for the future generation. Without sounding more negative, is in the minds of Africa's most educated class to work abroad and it is true that most of them are in the diaspora. Do you click on one of note that this is another form of self-slavery, 100 years after African leaders will then to fight for compensation from the West for taking all brains well away from them.
African leaders are born from the womb of typical Africa like everyone else in Africa, are cared for and groomed in the same society as anyone else. Never have been different at birth, yes! Jesus was different: its source remains a myth in the world of science, but African leaders. African society that nurtures these leaders, which over time become more powerful that people who are intended to serve, should be blamed. It will be very unfair if this article does not light the fact that not all African leaders are included Chapters of bad governance. Africa still shines Nkwame Khrumah leaders like Nelson Mandela, Seretse Khama (father of current President of Botswana), Kenneth Kaunda, Jomo Kenyatta, and in my opinion Wade of Senegal.
Africa is a continent that receive little sympathy from the West and this is evident by the presence of such organizations as Oxfam, CRS (Catholic Relief Services), etc. worldview must accept that all these organizations are in the art to give the fish Africans and non-manufacturing fishing rods and training Africans on how to catch fish and has long been a desire that must be met.
Africa's response is prudent leadership, reduce illiteracy levels and inspired by an African child that are as good as children in Europe and USA. A inferiority complex in the mind of an African child has to be removed through teaching as a high priority on the agenda of Africa.
Questions Global (www.globalissues.org/article/26/poverty-facts-and-stats) reports that Infectious diseases continue to blight the lives of the poor around the world. An estimated 40 million people living with HIV / AIDS, with 3 million deaths in 2004. Each year it is 350-500 million cases of malaria, with 1 million fatalities: Africa accounts for 90 percent of malaria deaths and African children account for over 80 per percent of malaria victims worldwide.
Organizations such as Oxfam are doing the best in alleviating poverty around the world, encourages all stakeholders to work together to end poverty and suffering. Oxfam's vision: "We believe we can end poverty and injustice, as part of a movement global change ". This ideal vision can be achieved if Oxfam and stakeholders, and in this respect African governments to work together. Developed countries have also contributed to the levels of poverty that Africa is dancing. Students climate that rich countries have caused to the environment are related directly to the droughts of Africa Africa is experiencing, thus pushing rubbish bins for food. Developed countries have failed follow the Kyoto Protocol. As Jeremy Hobbs, executive director of Oxfam International said: "Africa has withdrawn the emergency cord to avoid a clash of trains on the end of the week. Poor countries want to see a result Sharp, which guarantees the reduction of emissions but rich countries are trying to delay the discussions about the only mechanism we have to give this – the Kyoto Protocol "
African governments should refrain from buying luxury cars and live long Americans call "great life." A perfect example of irresponsible priorities is the government of Malawi, which houses 4.6 million illiterate adults and more 700 young people from school. For example Nyasatimes reports that the government of Zimbabwe took a melody USD 100 million and spent $ 15.9 million U.S. dollars U.S. for a presidential jet and spent another 3 billion pounds in a fleet of 22 Mercedes Benz vehicles in Britain for the cabinet.
Surly the question I will leave readers to reflect on is: can end poverty on this continent rich in resources for this neglect of the energy being? To some extent the problems Africa faces not need the statistics of the numeracy levels of poverty, only the faces of anguish, watery eyes and the feeling of hopelessness are visible to send a clear message to an honest mind.
