Bass Fishing Tips for Beginners – About jerkbaits
As ameture Bass Fisherman in the early 90s, I started by assuming that the bait was that used to catch Bass. But one day I saw in a magazine store and bought Bass. There was an article that focused on plastic bullet Go Soft jerkbaits. Being I had no idea at the time of decoys, after reading the article, I immediately bought a pair of bags Slug Slug Go Go and hooks. I was in the time it should be a soft bait easy to fish, you just put it on a hook and cast it out.
My first time in water with soft jerkbaits was a success, call it beginners luck. But to be honest with you, it was the first time you actually went out and focused strictly on bass fishing. My brother and I were fishing the famous Lake Minnetonka, which has to be the best fishing in Minnesota, We have been happy to fish in the morning we arrived in the dark. This was my first time on this lake, even though she lived only twenty minutes from it.
Anyway, started the morning with our new Soft jerkbaits, fishing to how the article I read said. We were not getting any bites in them at first, but as time passed and we have the fall of this bait, things started to heat up. I remember casting the lure into the water, not any structure or anything, just cast out. As I let the plastic sink, I hit a good size and nice Bass was like a monster jumping around the boat. Now this was the first bass caught in this Lure and were very excited. We auditioned for that spot again and again, catching bass on a base constant.
