Go Chase The Pike with a fly ..
I moved slowly upstream staring at the gin clear water, sunlight allowed me to see every stone, stick and even small fish in the bottom of the pool. No breeze ruffled the surface. My eyes move slowly along the length of a fish, should be thirty inches long or more. My heart beat a little faster as my brain went into overdrive as it calculates the angle of the casting, then the target distance. I started a line, then realized I needed a little more. I took few feet of the coil. All while maintaining the eyes in fish. I was the hunter, hunting is a fish that goes back a few million years. Other patterns are Polar perch with a tail Polar hair, a gold sequined body with 12 pounds rib monkey. The wings are yellow with green Buck Buck on linking black silk.
