Annapolis City Marina: On Any Given Sunny Day
You can have two types of firms to be busy on a sunny day in Annapolis: the ice cream shops and docks fuel. And as I scan the harbor at noon of my outdoor table at Carrol Creek Coffee, today is no exception. From here you can see more of the boats traveling in circles in front of the bright red fuel dock construction in the city of Annapolis Marina. Like people in the ice cream parlors, the ships are waiting patiently in line for your dose of fuel.
ACM fuel dock and accompanying store, rebuilt in early 2005, are the point focal Navy. Not only can or fuel pump up his boat out there, but you can take the water taxi (ACM is one of their designated stops) or stop by the cool – air conditioning inside is usually set in the "meat locker." craft store has several beverage coolers (both adults and children), ice, marine supply, ice cream, Starbucks coffee and T-shirts and sweatshirts necessary. There is also a sink and counter area for boaters to use a lot brochures on things to do in the city, one of the best public toilets I found at a marina, and loan life jackets for children. (The marina is a site for the BoatU.S. Foundation Program to provide these, so if you have a boat to visit his son who has no PFP, head on, sign one and return it when finished.)
Annapolis City Marina itself consists of three newly constructed docks, with about 90 sheets. Most are occupied by slipholders local but are transient slips available. If you pull to ACM for the night, expecting great views of the city, the comings and goings in the harbor mooring field and the Spa Creek bridge. From the marina is so close to the port, is one of the city's Wi-Fi zones.
For dinner you can walk to any of the restaurants near Eastport, including Carroll Creek, which is in the resort of Marina, or take a quick walk across the bridge in downtown Annapolis. Showers and laundry are at the entrance to the basement parking garage. While this may seem a little suspicious or fearful, it blocks the entrance to the heads, the facilities are closed and the whole complex is quite safe.
The next time you are in the port of Annapolis and is in need of fuel or 30-pack of beer, 'll find it here. Just be a good boy and wait their turn for a place in the fuel dock and hell, you can even get an ice cream.
