What is the smallest container you can keep a betta fish in?
I was thinking about a cup of coffee, is this acceptable? Recently I bought two betta fish and I have no place to put them so I was thinking about a cup of coffee. Well it is the person who has every right to fish color cup? I mean he's not dead!
* The best size (single betta): 2.5 to 5 gallons, filtered and heated * absolute minimum (housing temporary): 1 / 2 gallon – 1 gallon of water weekly changed anything less than 100% is animal cruelty. And I'm being too lenient when I say 1 / 2 gallon to 1 gallon, while that the absolute minimum. Can you find a clean container that is bigger? * A larger plastic container food storage? * A container Tupperware clean? * A large bottle cleaned? * A large bowl? Make sure you have a tight fitting because going Betta. And ALWAYS use dechlorinator water or let the water down for 24 hours.
