October is a good time for a fishing trip in Arkansas?
I am planning a trip for my husband's birthday on Beaver Lake, but I'm running on programming issues. I'm looking at the second weekend in October ?????
October should be a good time to go. Much will depend the cool nights of how warm the water is, and how many or sudden cold fronts are pulled. These will determine how fast the water temp drops. Living in S. Central Kentucky have active fishing clear until November some years before having to change winter patterns. Again, much will depend on what time does, nobody can predict.
