Where in California can legally practice the skills of survival?
I live in the Bay Area and want to practice techniques survival. I'd like to try fishing with a spear as well as the use of a rabbit suit, maybe even doing a little trap for a rabbit or a squirrel. I am finding it impossible to find information about it. There are so many California laws on hunting and fishing as well as protection of wildlife. I can not seem to find information on the legality of these methods of hunting. Please help!

Indeed likely to wound an animal or maul without actually achieve it. I think it's immoral not to pursue and finish a wounded animal. Sticks, stones, and other methods of low probability are the last appeal, the tactics of emergency. Live is best practiced not the objectives.
