How long can an average goldfish alive?
I recently bought a starter kit for my birthday goldfigh little brothers. (do not worry who is 13 and always wanted to fish (god knows why) Anyway wonder how long they live. If anyone knows please could you tell me. Thanks xx
Well, in a starter kit goldfish, you will be lucky to get a year out of the fish after the growth has stunting. A properly care for goldfish (and I'm talking a lot about them here are being put in the aquarium of appropriate size and / or pond) can live to be 20 + years old! You can not have water that is too clean! Impossible! That would be like saying you can die early if the breathing air is very clean and there is enough pollution in that meet your needs.
