What is the best plan for Galveston Bay fish this weekend?
A fishing tournament this weekend for the red, spot and flounder. high tide is around 7 or 8 and is in the water at 6:30. Would you like some advice on where to start and what pattern to follow after the first place to go when the tide goes out again.
I'm from Florida so I do not fish that area but I know a team that just got through Fishing for Redfish Cup tournament there and the first two days, 90% of the teams were fishing docks. The last day of victory came from fish from elsewhere, but I would start there. I'm not sure how far the current drops by, but I would start looking at the floors of the coast around cuts and potholes, oysters and rocks. Look at other boats.
