Why eat fish on Christmas Eve?
My family, and many others, have a tradition of eating fish on Christmas Eve. I heard something over 7 different fish but do not know why. Does anyone know the history / purpose of eating fish at this event?
Unless you go to Captain D's Red Lobster or December 24 – I do not. Doing so would be a coincidence. I've never heard of this tradition – sorry. Good question. However, I am known to eat more cookies than anyone should in a year though.
