A mini-tour around Bermuda
For a destination so compact and affordable vacation to Bermuda can be surprisingly eventful. This island paradise, locked in the warm embrace of the North Atlantic Ocean, has an area of only about 22 square miles, but manages to include beaches in some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in the world. Long known for its relaxed and friendly atmosphere, the breeze and the warm climate of Bermuda, attracting thousands visitors each year to the unique experience of pink sand and turquoise waters of the islands.
With a width of only a mile at its widest point, it is said which are never more than a stone's throw from the beach in Bermuda, which, of course, many of the activities offered are water based. However, if you really want out and explore the island, a great way to do this is by motorbike. With a slow speed limit of 20 mph and luck was not much rain, is an ideal day trip to out, so taking a helmet, a pack a picnic and went on a mini tour of Bermuda!
It departed from Hamilton
Your first port of call, where you hire your scooter, probably Hamilton, the capital of the island. If you are based in Hamilton on vacation to Bermuda, the rental company will probably be happy to deliver your bike to you. You can choose one or two places and after a brief safety lesson will be on your way. To guide, why not take in some of the attractions of Hamilton before going further? You can visit the fascinating Underwater Exploration Institute, or stroll along the promenade and enjoy of oleander and hibiscus, which adorn the banks of the picturesque harbor. Then, take a quick trip to the hill beyond the magnificent Gothic cathedral Holy Trinity Anglican, before leaving the city.
Up Crystal Caves
Once you leave Hamilton can motor along the coast the Crystal Caves. These magnificent underground caverns are the highlight of the holidays most people of Bermuda, and the fantastic world beneath the surface is nothing short of fascinating. Visitors enter the cave through a series of steps leading to a magical world beneath the earth, and then follow a pontoon timber suspended above the top of the deep water Aqua. In another world stalactites and stalagmites adorn the ceiling and you are guided through a journey in silence, strange through the maze. Going out into the bright sunlight of Bermuda, take a moment to adjust before climbing back on his scooter to continue his tour.
Bottom Church Bay
Accommodation on the main island, you can now depart from the east coast leg of his mini-tour. Take a quick detour around picturesque Harrington, then left along the coast beyond the pink sands of Warwick Long Bay, stop for a picnic lunch in the famous Horseshoe Bay, with its fabulous sweeping bay, and finally, late in the Church of the Bay. Many people on vacation to Bermuda, make this place a priority because it is the ideal place to practice diving. The coral reef that protects the bay is full of colorful fish and marine life, and is one of the best sites on the island during an encounter underwater.
Power on the way back to Hamilton stop on Gibbs Hill Lighthouse and brave the 185 steps for a panoramic view across the island, before arriving in time for cocktails in the port under a sunset painted in Bermuda.
