How should I bait the hook?
I'm using the spiny eel, which are about 5 inches long, should I use them whole or cut them? I am fishing the delta (CA) for striper. Thanks.
Use general, and hook it through the lips. Use the minimum weight, if at all, since I really want a natural presentation. The reason to use them all and hook 'em through the lips is because stripers are predators natural eels. Even if you aren `t go hungry in the Striper bite off the head from the eels eels eat Striper` s eggs. So, to protect future eggs generate a Striper never miss an eel, even if not hungry.
