Carp fishing in the state of NY in winter?
NY carpers any of you go fishing for carp in winter? If so, where and what is the focus (bait, etc)? Thank you. Tight lines!
Not in New York, but in Kentucky. Could go a couple of times. The tent not only bite as they do in the spring, summer and fall. I go fishing here near home. Carr Creek in the nearby lake or stream in the road has a few tents. I use peanut butter dumpling most of the time. It's the best thing that has worked for me! I use various other things. TWIZZLERS (Yea The Candy!), Corn, Wheaties, Pan, Bubble Gum. Haha any thing catching fish, I'll try! I use a Zebco 33 with £ 10 or £ 14 in a line of medium-heavy action 6 'rod Shakespeare Ranger.
