Drilling to begin this month at the Gold Teryl Resources' Hill
When Teryl Resources (TSX.V: TRC) announced the initiation of drilling on the Gold Hill copper-gold-silver project located near Bisbee, Arizona, investors familiar with the area sat in their chairs. His interest piqued, primarily because Gold Hill is four miles from Phelps Dodge Copper Queen / Lavender Pit Mine, which produced more than 75 million tons of copper, silver and gold between 1954 and 1974. Second, because mines in the area around Bisbee have collectively produced more than $ 6 billion in metals over the past 100 years.
President Teryl Resources ", John Robertson, who purchased the property, outlined a strategy to search for minerals that is simple, effective wisdom in the mineral exploration industry. In Robertson's words, "the key to discovering a good property, any mining property, is to drill near existing gold and copper properties. Always. You want be in any area where gold is known or known copper production.
Given the setting, optimism about the geology in Gold Hill seems fair. The geological conditions suggest that a large deposit of gold and copper diffusion susceptible to low cost open pit mining. In a report, John Shanahan of Resourcex Group cited a geological report on the prospects, saying, "a report by Frederic Rothermel, PhD, outlined a pattern of mineralization that copper-rich/gold-poorer moved from the center of the system to the richest gold / copper poorer in the periphery – this pattern is consistent with the characteristics of Carlin trend in Nevada, which contains more than 100 million ounces of gold in profit and probable reserves. "
The hope that the comparison of trends Carlin is right, Teryl is continuing exploration on the property. Teryl has employed various drilling LLC to drill at least three holes to identify, high grade the copper surface targets. The exploration completed on the project so far has included aeromagnetic data interpretation and field examinations. This work of copper, and a sampling program that tested to 2.54%, were used to identify the proposed location of the holes of Gold Hill.
The prospect has a privileged consists of seven claim blocks, including Old Gold Hill, Superior, and Bastion Mines in the Warren Mining District, Arizona. Teryl has a right to earn 100% of interest in the subject property to 10% net profit interest.
Teryl at each property, Robertson, who has twenty-five years of experience to raise money for companies in the natural resource sector, use the same recipe for success. "First, find the money to the company, and then find a excellent property. Then begins a junior exploration program we fund ourselves. Once we got excellent results, we will continue drilling raise more money and bring a partner and can develop further. "
If he makes it sound simple, Robertson is because he has done before, both oil and gas and mining. In Alaska, Teryl is one of the largest property owners in the mineral rich Fairbanks Mining Division.
Teryl adjacent properties has been collected or near Kinross Gold True North Property and Kinross Fort Knox mine, the largest gold mine production in Alaska. Property Teryl Gil, a joint venture with Kinross, hosts a resource of 400,000 ounces of gold. True to Robertson's strategy, after doing the groundwork for exploration on the property, Teryl entered a joint venture agreement with Kinross Gold to further develop the resource.
Another property of Teryl Alaska, 100% ownership of property Westridge has seen initial exploration including sampling. A press release dated November 2004 reported favorable results in comparison with the geology Westridge to other gold properties in the Fairbanks area. The finding "suggests that the gold mineralization within the sample grid may be intrusive related, a similarity shared by several other intrusive-related gold Fairbanks District. "
Teryl's Fish Creek gold property, a choice of 50% of Linux Gold Corp., consists of 30 mineral claims adjacent to the property Gil. Teryl and Linux Gold recently announced the discovery of six new geophysical targets on the property. The two companies, according to a recent press release, plans to begin an exploration program in Fish Creek this winter.
The statement Alaska is the silver remaining claim Stepovich adjacent to Kinross Fort Knox Gold Mine in Teryl has a 10% net interest profit and Kinross owns 100% of the claims under interest rate of 10% of Teryl.
Finally, oil and gas prospects in Texas and Kentucky provide a financial foundation for Teryl. Robertson said: "One of the key things for a junior company is cash flow to pay for administration costs. So having oil and gas properties is helping company to have revenue. "
With significant cash flow and excellent projects underway in Alaska, Teryl Resources has turned its attention to Gold Hill in Arizona. Robertson does not mince words about his intentions. "We have claims of property that could become a major mine because we are near a major largest gold and copper. We are looking to find a breakthrough and then probably joint venture with a major company and put it into production. "
With properties listed both in the Fairbanks Mining Division and Warren Mining District, near major mining companies and money for exploration, Resources Teryl seems to be doing all the right moves to go ahead with the plan Robertson.
