rod and reel storage and storage for travel?
I g.loomis bars to take care of them is my number one priority in fisheries and a truck from their hard to keep safe in the bed of the trunk without taking off my bag or other things crashing into the bars. so does anyone have a solution for me? I want to be able to carry with horses and carts still rode and plan on buying sleeves to cover the carbon fiber rod and also eyes, but how can I keep the safety bars set and form of moving objects in bed trunk open? also id like it to be efficiant space so that all suggestions are welcome
Loyd gave a good suggestion. Wal Mart has velcro holders that are 5 or 6 bars. You can mount these on the side of bed depending on the length of your bars. I personally have a bed covered in my truck and placed diagonally headlines across the bottom of my lid. Works great. I can not tell you how many times I have had batteries, tackle boxes, etc. accident in my eyes and rest bars and what not. Another simple things you can do is size of a 2×4 to fit securely between each side of the bed and place to the front. You can put all heavy items sliding off the bar and your behind. This will only work if the bars are short enough to fit behind the 2×4, of course.
