The need for comparison of fish oil

I had the opportunity the other day to look at the Carlson recommends fish oil. The use of oil fish as a dietary supplement has become increasingly popular, as has been discovered that reduces the risk of almost everything. Most supplements companies to produce a version of this oil, but they are all more or less the same, or are there differences between them?

Fish oil higher quality laboratories Carlson produces is 1000 mg capsule was intended to be one of the best that is available. The key to whether a supplement of omega-3 fatty acids will be successful in the treatment what ails you is the amount of DHA, EPA and DPA is in the formula. Let's look at what they offer these products in particular, and compare the results to an unnamed competitor.

Carlson fish oil contains 300 mg of EPA, which is a pretty good amount. The omega fatty acid has proven beneficial for heart disease, hypertension and inflammatory disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis. While it's nice to have something as effective as EPA in the formula, it is believed that the contribution of DHA provides higher level of benefit to the body.

DHA is vital for growth and brain development in infants, and it is also necessary for healthy brain function in adults. It is a central component of the nervous system and plays an important role in decreasing the amyloid plaques that are responsible for disease development AD. DHA also inhibits the growth of colon carcinoma cells, and treated hypertension, arthritis, atherosclerosis, adult onset diabetes, myocardial infarction and thrombosis.

This really makes me wonder why Carlson fish oil contains only 200 mg of DHA. The competitor I mentioned contains 120 mg of EPA and 280 mg of DHA, which is a more effective of the two. The other thing that puzzles me is why the Carlson formula contain no trace of the DAP?

The high level of DPA in seal oil has led investigators to believe that is a factor contributing to cardiovascular health in general good of the Inuit. The competitor formula 50 mg DPA, which is fine as it is basically to support the cardiovascular benefits of EPA and DHA. APD can not do all the things that others do, but still I do not think that's a good idea simply omit it.

The price of Carlson fish oil is an amazing $ 12.90 for 50 capsules, equivalent to 26 cents per gram. In comparison, the price competition from more complete your fish oil with DHA, EPA and DPA is only $ 16.85 for 60 capsules. This makes the oil competition fish only supplement 2 cents more per gram.

Personally, I prefer to pay the additional 2 cents and have a formula that contains a full set of Omega-3 fatty acids, fish oil Carlson falls a bit short on.
